XI CIRCUITO MUSIKAGILEAK

Bilbao Sinfonietta will participate in the prestigious XI Contemporary Music Circuit, where it will premiere “Bariolage Sauvage” by the composer Mikel Chamizo, one of the leaders of the young Basque composition. The program includes works by Brais Nóvoa, Teresa Catalán, Gabriel Erkoreka, Ramón Lazkano and the recent National Music Prize Félix Ibarrondo.

In BS’s trajectory, the collaboration with contemporary composers in its environment stands out, interpreting their proposals and even reaching the premiere which will happen in February 2021 and it takes place in the 10th Cycle of Contemporary Music Concerts of the BBVA Foundation in Bilbao in the 2019-20 season, with the premiere of “Hilando Reflejos” by the young composer Brais Nóvoa.
