VOICE Y ORCHESTRA

Schubert
&
Mahler

Many of the musical productions of great composers have been orchestrated, transcribed or even modified by masters who lived years later. This wonderful selection of Lieder by F. Schubert is a good example of this, where it is observed how chamber music is produced to obtain an orchestral result. However, in the second part of the program, the reverse occurs, from the hand of A. Schönberg, the Symphonies of G. Mahler are reduced to a score of instruments, a period in which symphonic music lived its splendor.
